PURPOSE OF POSITION
Ensure the smooth operation of Lightware clients’ audio and video technology systems and provide high-level customer support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prompt and professional handling of technical inquiries from clients regarding both the software and hardware components of audio and video systems via a ticketing system
- Active communication with clients through various channels as required (phone, video conference, in-person)
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics remotely or on-site, both domestically and abroad
- Maintaining and documenting troubleshooting solutions
- Conducting customer training sessions and internal technical training when needed
- Close cooperation with all Lightware development teams
- Preparing technical documentation and user manuals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher technical education or technician-level qualification, or secondary education with strong foundations in electronics and computer science
- Native Hungarian speaker with fluent English skills (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Precise, customer-focused work ethic with a patient and courteous attitude
- Confident knowledge of digital audiovisual technologies and TCP/IP-based computer networks
ADVANTAGES:
- Experience in customer service or as a support engineer in the professional AV industry or in fields primarily dealing with TCP/IP networks
- Practical experience in configuring audiovisual systems, video equipment, and TCP/IP networks
- At least basic but active knowledge of JavaScript
- Active knowledge of scripting in Windows and Linux environments
- At least basic but active knowledge of Python
